Rita holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education
with a minor in English from Texas A&M University at Commerce. She has devoted 23 years to education and currently
teaches fifth grade reading and ESL in Mount Vernon ISD. |

Julleen Bottoms, Vice President, Corsicana ISD
Julleen holds a bachelor's degree in home economics from Sam Houston State University. She has 20 years of teaching experience and currently serves as a K-5 technology applications specialist at Navarro Elementary School in Corsicana ISD.

Ron Fitzwater, Secretary, Alvin ISD
Ron holds a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Missouri State University. He has devoted 34 years to education and currently works as a college and career counselor at Alvin High School in Alvin ISD.

Jerry Bonham, Mesquite ISD
Jerry holds a bachelor's degree from the university of Texas at Austin and holds a master's degree in education from the university of Texas at Tyler. She has devoted 30 years to education and currently teaches seventh and eighth grade english and reading in Mesquite ISD.

Tina Briones, San Antonio ISD
Tina currently works at Burbank High. She has held numerous leadership positions with ATPE.

Brad Robb, the Anderson Charitable Foundation
Brad holds a BA in English Literature from Yale university. From 1982 to 2010 he worked in various capacities at U.S. Trust and Bank of America, managing investments and banking for foundations, endowments, retirement plans and family offices. Brad currently serves as the Executive Director of the Anderson Charitable Foundation.
