ATPE Foundation Technology Grant
The ATPE Foundation provides $2,500 awards to eligible Texas public schools each school year to purchase technology resources for classroom use. Two grants will be awarded during the 2011-12 school year.
Criteria and Guidelines
- All applications must be submitted using the official application.
- Funds must be used to purchase technology resources for classroom use.
- Recipients will be required to complete a follow-up form in May 2012 and produce receipts for the project. Failure to provide proper documentation of the use of funds could result in some or all of the funds being returned to the ATPE Foundation.
- The Foundation gives preference to projects in schools in which at least 50 percent of the students are eligible to receive free or reduced price lunches.
The recipients of the 2011-12 ATPE Foundation Technology Grant were selected in January 2012. The application form for the 2012-13 Technology Grant will be available July 1, 2012.
