Technology Grant Criteria and Guidelines 

ATPE Foundation Technology Grant

The ATPE Foundation provides $2,500 awards to eligible Texas public schools each school year. The number of awards provided each year depends upon the amount of funds the ATPE Foundation has available.

Criteria and Guidelines

  1. Applicants must be employed by a public school in the state of Texas.
  2. All applications must be submitted using the official application.
  3. Funds must be used to purchase technology resources for classroom use.
  4. Recipients will be required to complete a follow-up form in May 2011 and produce receipts for the project. Failure to provide proper documentation of the use of funds could result in some or all of the funds being returned to the ATPE Foundation.
  5. The Foundation gives preference to projects in schools in which at least 50 percent of the students are eligible to receive free or reduced price lunches.

Timeline

  1. Applications must be postmarked by Nov. 5, 2010, if mailed, or received by midnight the same day if faxed.
  2. We anticipate that recipients will be identified and awards will be made in December 2010.
